Description

Beautiful sturdy and strong Sparta 8-80 demountable bicycle in really great condition. Made by Sparta in 1968. Has affinity with the designs of Citroen, Renault, Jean Prouve, Wim Rietveld and Friso Kramer. Easily adjustable handle bar and saddle height. Has a vintage spedometer with odometer. Tires are in almost new condition and the saddle looks great. Has a ‘Torpedo’ back pedal break which also works as a two gear switch. The front fork with front wheel is also removable from the frame with a . They say a bicycle for people between 8 – 80 years, hence the name and suitable for people between 1m50 en 1m70 in length. Cycles very easily. Second gear rattles a bit but works great. Dynamo and lighting works as it should. Including original rear wheel lock with key.

Dimensions: handle bar height 105 -110 cm, saddle height 98 – 105 cm, length 164 cm.
