Description

Rare chair from this period. Metal tubes and an early type of bakelite seat. It has a crack in the seat. Willem Hendrik Gispen (1890-1981) was the driving force behind the Gispen company. He designed and manufactured modernistic bauhaus style furniture in Holland.
