Description
The Arne Jacobsen 3-legged Ant chair is an iconic piece of mid-20th century Danish design, designed in 1952 for the canteen of Novo Nordisk. Manufactured by Fritz Hansen, this chair was originally lightweight, stable, and easy to stack. The 3-legged version you see here is a rare museum-quality design example.
Featuring fluid, sculptural lines, this chair is a statement piece for any interior. Other Jacobsen classics include the Swan and Egg chair.
This chair is in authentic vintage condition, showing slight signs of use. The narrowest point of the backrest has fine hairline cracks on both sides, but the chair is fully functional.
This is a perfect gift for design lovers and collectors of mid century modern furniture.
We ship worldwide — from Manhattan to Sydney — alongside other vintage pieces by designers like Eames, Hans Wegner, Finn Juhl, Kaare Klint, Mies van der Rohe, Pierre Paulin, Wim Rietveld, Cees Braakman, and many more.
